Museum Victoria undertakes research in order to contribute to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the origins, diversity and development of Australia's natural, cultural and scientific heritage, and applies this knowledge for the benefit of society.
Museum Victoria Science Reports publishes papers in the natural sciences that have been prepared by Museum staff to fulfil reporting obligations for specific projects, or to make available taxonomic lists assembled from primary sources. Internal referees assess all contributions prior to publication.
Electronic publication via the Museum Victoria website is the means of distribution and individual papers may be downloaded as PDF files from this website, free of charge.
*Please note Museum Victoria Science Reports nos 2-10 will be made available over the coming weeks.
