This plan supports Museum Victoria’s commitment to actively fostering access and increasing understanding of, and respect for, the diversity of the Victorian community. This commitment is outlined in the Museum’s strategic plan Exploring Victoria, Discovering the World 2008-13.
The Disability Action Plan articulates an organisation-wide approach to addressing the barriers encountered by people with a disability in accessing Museum Victoria experiences. It responds to the four disability action plan outcome areas identified in the Disability Act 2006.
