Terms and Conditions of Membership
1. Membership privileges are available only on the presentation of your current membership card together with photographic identification.
2. Your membership card is NOT TRANSFERABLE. Only the named person/s listed on your membership card may use it. Failure to present your membership card at the ticketing desk could result in the payment of full admission. Adult members also need to present another form of photographic identification.
3. These privileges are available only on individual or family visits & DO NOT apply to visits such as school excursions.
4. Prices are valid as at 4 April 2009.
5. Museum Victoria does not pro-rata or refund membership subscriptions.
6. A $5.00 fee is payable for replacement cards.
7. In order to obtain your member parking discount you must validate your parking ticket at Melbourne Museum Ticket Desk, on the day of your visit.
8. The administration fee is applicable to all new & lapsed memberships. A membership will be considered ‘lapsed’ four weeks after the expiry date of membership.
9. Museum Victoria may terminate your membership if you: fail to comply with these terms & conditions; abuse any privilege afforded to you under the Membership program; misuse your membership card or breach the conditions of entry of a Museum Victoria campus.
10. Museum Victoria collects & manages your personal information in a professional & responsible manner & in accordance with the principles of privacy law. The information provided by you will only be used for Museum Victoria purposes, such as the administration of your membership, the provision of Museum Victoria goods & services, planning research & marketing of the Membership program. Museum Victoria will not disclose, sell, distribute, share or otherwise pass on your personal information to any third party. You may choose not to provide your personal details upon joining, however, if you do not provide your personal details we will not be able to administer your membership or provide you with some or all membership benefits.
11. The primary membership cardholder(s) is/are responsible for ensuring the details of their MV Membership are correct at all times.
12. Museum Victoria reserves the right to update or change these terms & conditions of membership benefits at any time without prior notice.
