Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul  features more than 230 priceless treasures and offers the rare opportunity to discover the surprising, untold story of Afghanistan’s extraordinary culture.

Dr Fredrik Hiebert, archaeologist and explorer, has traced ancient trade routes overland and across the seas for more than 20 years and has led many excavations at ancient Silk Road sites.

MV Members are invited to spend the morning with Dr Hiebert, curator of the exhibition and hear about his many expeditions including how he helped rediscover the lost Bactrian gold in Afghanistan.  

Event includes morning tea, presentation by Dr Fredrik Hiebert followed by entry into Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures.

Time 9am, followed by 10am entry into Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures exhibition.
Cost $14 adult, $12 concession, $10 child
