Predators are on the prowl at Scienceworks!

Some of the world’s most fearsome creatures, including sharks, lions, crocodiles, scorpions and even predatory insects have taken over the special exhibition gallery.

Scienceworks’ latest travelling exhibition, Eaten Alive - The World of Predators, explores the behaviours and techniques used by predators to catch prey. Highlights include a giant animatronic crocodile, enormous spider and animatronic snake - see them lunge, leap or lie in wait for their next meal.

Be sure to check out the 3D Shark Encounter. Using 3D animation and moving seat bases, this experience simulates a shark-cage dive, exploring how these deadly predators use various senses and methods to find and capture prey.

Eaten Alive - The World of Predators is at Scienceworks until 10 July 2005.
