InfoZone celebrated Seniors Week this year with the launch of a new 'Internet for Seniors' class.

In past years our 'Internet for Beginners' classes were so successful that this year we decided to offer Intermediate classes as well.

The program reached a very diverse audience of seniors. Over-60s in attendance not only improved their Internet skills but were soon sending emails back and forth to InfoZone staff.

Two-thirds of 'students' had never been to the museum before, but all said they would be coming back. Feedback from the week was very positive with every participant reporting that the sessions were helpful.

The program was completely booked out and many classes had waiting lists. We will therefore be thinking about expanding the program even further next year.

A huge thank-you to all the staff and volunteers in InfoZone for making the week such a great success!
