Did you know that the average human blinks 12 times a minute? That adds up to about 10,000 blinks per day...

Imagine being an alien transferred into a human body! How will you know what your new body needs to survive? How will you learn what your new organs do?

Launched on 26 July, Scienceworks’ latest travelling exhibition, Mission Earthling – Discover the Human Body, answers these questions and many more.

This quirky interactive exhibition allows visitors to explore the human body as seen through alien eyes. It provides a hands-on journey through the sensory, reproductive, defence, digestive and circulatory systems of our bodies.

The exhibition allows visitors to have fun discovering how well the human body has adapted to life on Earth, coping with elements such as gravity, the sun, the atmosphere and temperature extremes.

Mission Earthling – Discover the Human Body is showing at Scienceworks until 14 May 2006.
