3-13 November 2006 is Frog Week in the Melbourne Museum Discovery Centre.
For the next ten days, the Discovery Centre will be home to some very special visitors as Melbourne Museum celebrates Frog Week 2006.
Frog Week is an annual event that showcases Australia’s native frog species and raises awareness of some of the challenges facing Australia’s frog populations in the twenty first century.
Supported by Museum Victoria’s Live Exhibits Team, a colony of Rocky River Tree Frogs (Litoria lesueuri) and a selection of the Discovery Centre’s information resources relating to Victoria’s amphibians will be on display in the centre.
Be sure to make your way down to the Discovery Centre, Museum Victoria’s dynamic research facility, to pay a visit to our special guests and to gain new insights into Victoria’s native frogs.
