The Immigration Discovery Centre is glowing, this week, after the installation of brand-new state-of-the-art LED lighting along its bookshelves. This was installed over five mornings, last week, meaning that each day the place looked nicer. The special lights are designed to make things look good, but also to provide the right conditions for precious books to last for ages - museums need to take conservation seriously! Aaron and his team did a great job, as they always do, contributing their expertise to an environment more conducive than ever to thinking, reading, hanging around.
