Stuffed & Mounted

An exhibition by Museum Victoria and Birds Australia

Support Package for Teachers and Students

Rose-crowned Fruit Dove Stuffed & Mounted is an exhibition that promotes an awareness of the beauty of birds and the need for their conservation. Students will see a number of exhibits from Museum Victoria's extensive collection of bird specimens, and will find out what they can do to protect birds and their habitats. They will also gain an understanding of the important role of ornithological collections and research in providing the scientific basis for measures to protect our native birds.
