Earwigs

Description:
Less than 50mm in length with flattened bodies. The only insects with pincer-like cerci. Usually found in moist places such as under logs and rocks, or amongst plants. Eat rotting plant material, but will also eat live or dead insects. Predators include other insects, frogs, reptiles, birds and mammals. |
