Happy 21st Birthday Scienceworks
On Saturday March 28th 1992 children and adults alike poured into Scienceworks for the first time. This image captures the public’s enthusiasm for its new Science Centre and a new philosophy of public engagement, including interactive exhibitions and operating industrial machinery on the arena. Here we see a young boy learning about the viscosity of liquids in the Materials Exhibition.
