Leaf Sample - Dendrocalamus strictus (Gramineae), India, 1880s Reg. No: HT 11518
- A sample of the Dendrocalamus Strictus (Gramineae) Giant Bamboo leaves. This was collected and prepared by T.N.Mukharji as part of his work for the Indian Botanical Gardens. It was donated to the Museum by the Indian Government, Calcutta in 1887.
- A sample of the Dendrocalamus Strictus (Gramineae) Giant Bamboo leaves, packaged in a sealed, clear plastic bag, with two older paper tags inside plastic package. The leaves appear shedded in texture, and are green in colour.
