Men and women competed for a total of 12 gold medals in cycling at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. Events were drawn from the track, road and mountain bike disciplines at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
The coin is made of Cupro Nickel, was designed by Wojciech Pietranik, and was struck at the Royal Australian Mint, Canberra. - Description:

Packaging: A plasticised card, coloured aqua, green and orange, the brand colours of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. The coin is held in a plastic enclosure in the right hand side of the card. It is heavily branded, and bears brief numismatic details on the back. - Acquisition Information:
