We have a name plate for a Austral Kerosene Engine. Manufactured by Ronaldson Bros & Tippet Propy Ltd Quote no 7046. Ballarat Vic.
We wondered what year the engine was made.

Hello Ellis - if we assume the "Quote Number" you cite is the Engine Number, using this resource you can estimate the date of factory test as 1927. Hope this helps!
