A framed notice about Kodak's Gold Medal for International Corporate Environment Achievement, awarded to Kodak world wide by the World Environment Centre (WEC) in 1999. There is a photograph of the presentation of the award to Kodak Chairman George Fisher, and explanatory text underneath. This was displayed in the Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd offices at Coburg.

This document is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Shiny gold coloured and textured metal frame with glass cover. The notice is on white paper and is framed by dark blue mounting board. There is a gold WEC logo top centre and below this is a colour photograph of the award presentation. There is an orange title bar at the top and bottom of the notice with yellow and red Kodak logo bottom right corner. There is a blue and black butterfly at the bottom left corner of the photograph. WEC text is green and all other text is black. There are four metal corner brackets attached with two screws each holding the frame together. The backing board is particle board and there is hanging brass picture wire attached to metal loops in the upper third.
