Events Kit - Women on Farms Gathering, Horsham, 2004 Reg. No: HT 10098
- Booklet titled 'Women on Farms Gathering Events Kit', written by Dr. Rowan O'Hagan and funded by the 2002 Macedon Ranges (Kyneton) Gathering committee. The Horsham Gathering was used to launch and distribute this booklet, the first formal document of the processes required to undertake a Gathering.' The aim of the events kit is to provide a flexible guide to running a Gathering or similar event', stated the booklet, 'at the same time preserving the tradition and heritage that have been nurtured over the past fourteen years.' The booklet traced the history of the Gatherings before providing a detailed step-by-step account of how to run a Gathering, from building a team to having a debrief at the Gathering's end.
- A4 black and white printed sheets, paged 1-60, with title page and clear acetate cover sheet and light card back cover, bound by white twin loop wire binding. Contents include background to Victorian WOFG, Getting Started, Financial/Legal Management, Venue, Content, Sponsorship, Working with Local/State/Federal Govts., Publicity, Catering, Registration/Database, Gathering Traditions, At the Gathering, Post-Gathering and Conclusion.
