- Patch presented in 1994 by the Glenormiston Women on Farms Gathering committee for the Women on Farms Gathering perpetual banner. The theme for the Glenormiston Gathering was 'Survival, Support and Success.' The patch is now attached to the perpetual banner which is used at the Gathering each year.
- Description:
- Square patch featuring a background panel that consists of heavy green fabric. The central panel consists of a cream rectangular patch that has been applied with blanket stitching onto the heavy green fabric and the bottom rectangular panel consists of white fabric that features the printed black text: 'SURVIVAL, SUPPORT AND SUCCESS'. The central rectangular patch features a purple icon that depicts symbols of Western District farming, including grapes, sheep, horses, dairy, grain and harvesting, each radiating out from a woman's face. Purple text reads: 'GLENORMISTON/ WOMEN ON FARMS GATHERING/1994'. Small, ornate flowers have been embroidered into the top corners of the white patch, in shades of purple, orange, green and pink.
