Black Bathing Costume made in the late 1950s. It was worn by Renata Crea's mother Lidia who migrated to Australia from Italy in 1950 with her husband Guiseppe.
Black bathers, unlabelled. Halterneck, tied at back of neck; elasticized shirred back; straight cut at top of thigh. Three buttons sewn along gathered section on middle front left hand side.
