- This program was produced by the Moomba board to commemorate the 1963 Moomba Festival.
Moomba is one of Melbourne's longest running festivals which is run under the auspices of the City of Melbourne. Moomba is celebrated during the Labour Day long weekend (the first Friday to the second Monday in March), and has been held annually since 1955. In 2003, the event was renamed Melbourne Moomba Waterfest, with most activities centred around the Yarra River. - Description:
- Rectangular program consisting of 35 double sided glossy pages printed with black and white drawing and photographs and extensive black text. The pages are bound inside two thin card covers printed with an embossed crest of the City of Melbourne on the front, and an advertisement for The Herald newspaper on the back.
