Summary:: Book 'Phar Lap' published by Lansdowne Press in 1983 to coincide with the release of the motion picture `Phar Lap'. It was written by Helen Townsend, and was based on the film script by David Williamson. The image on the front cover was the one designed for the film's poster.
Description:: Thick rectangular book with 180 paper pages printed with extensive black text, and 28 glossy pages printed with colour still from the Phar Lap motion picture. The book has hard covers; the front one is printed with painted images from the film (the same design as used on the film poster), whilst the back cover has a written summary of the book.
