- Summary:
- Folded accommodation and berthing plan for Chandris Lines, RHMS Ellinis. There plans feature a photographic image of the ship in blue and show the floor plans of the different decks of the ship. They also note that the ship was fully Air Conditioned.
Built in 1931 as the Lurline for the US Matson Line, she was used for the San Francisco to Honolulu service. Operating as a troop ship between 1942 and 1946, when she was completely refitted. She then re-entered the San Francisco to Los Angeles to Honolulu service in 1948 before being sold to Chandris Lines in 1963. Renamed Ellinis she was refitted with accommodation for 1,668-single class passengers. First used for the round-the-world service from Rotterdam to Sydney to Rotterdam, from 1975 onwards she was used for cruising only. She was scrapped in 1986. - Description:
