Summary:
Letter to the Minister for Information and Immigration, The Hon A A Calwell MP, from N E McKenna, Minister for Social Services, dated 15 January 1949. The letter details concerns by Samuel Gung for child endowment to his wife, it states that two of three children are not entitled to endowment as they weren't born in Australia and are not residents, however it has been decided that endowment will be paid for two children.
