Summary:
Piece of shrapnel was accompanied by an envelope which states that it was from a German mine laid by the disguised merchant raider SMS Wolf near Gabo Island in 1917.
Description:
Irregular shaped piece of corroded iron. One side is relatively smooth with indentations along one edge.
