- Summary:
- Single-cylinder 2 c.c model aircraft engine used by Harold P. Wood. Manufactured by Electronic Developments (Surrey) Ltd, UK. This is a more powerful version of the standard 2 c.c model giving an additional 5 oz of static thrust, compression adjustment and a lightened crankcase. It was designed for use with model aircraft, boats and cars. It operated on a fuel mixture of castor oil, paraffin oil and ether. The wooden fixed-pitch two-blade propeller was not supplied with the engine by the manufacturer and was fitted by Harold P. Wood. Crankcase, cylinder head and carburettor are made of aluminium with brass adjustment screw and lever. This is the instruction manual which came with the engine.
