Summary:
This scrapbook was compiled by Kodak Australasia, by the branch at 379 George Street Sydney, and contains 23 archival items produced during and shortly after World War Two that relate to New South Wales.

The archival items include promotional clippings and advertisement proofs for Kodak products. The products and subjects include photographic film and papers, cameras and accesories, Some of the advertisements relate to Kodak products, but others promote Kodak services such as developing, printing and enlarging. Advertising slogans include "Remember happy days with your Brownie" and "It's the Kodak film that makes the picture!"

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Description:
Scrapbook, medium weight paper, red plastic spiral binding. 40 pages excluding front and back cover, the last 10 pages have been left blank, Front page, label top right corner, red and yellow logo, "Kodak Film Made in Australia", with typewritten title and handwritten identification. Promotional material ranges in size from 262 x 203 mm to 390 x 235 mm.
