Colour poster - described by Kodak as a Christmas Window Bill - advertising Kodak cameras in a Christmas sales campaign, printed in 1938. The advertising slogan is 'Give A Kodak. Kodaks and Brownies. Kodak Film. Gift Packages'. The back of the poster is printed as a Kodak Trade Circular for Christmas 1938. It offers information on selling Kodak products and features several black and white photographs. It was distributed to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Launceston, Townsville, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Newcastle, and Ballarat.

The poster is held in a scrapbook compiled by Kodak Australasia. The scrapbook contains 37 colour, and black and white promotional leaflets, posters, stickers, negative and print envelopes, postal packaging for the Australian Photographic Review magazine, and trade circulars produced before World War Two. The leaflets promote point of sale, merchandising and advertising material, sales campaigns and sales tips for Kodak dealers. They also promote specific Kodak products such as film and cameras, processing services, as well as advertising the Kodak International Salon of Photography. In addition, various leaflets promote photographic competitions and celebration sales for Australia's 150th anniversary celebrations.

This poster is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials and working life artefacts from the Kodak factories in Melbourne. This collection dates from the late 19th century to the early 21st century and was acquired in 2005 when the Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd factory in Coburg closed down.
Description:
The front of the poster features two illustrations of holly, and red, white, blue and yellow text and background.
The circular on the back of the poster features four black and white photographs and a line drawing, with black text.
The item has been folded in half and pasted into a page of Kodak Scrapbook HT 19942. It is attached to the scrapbook at the top of the poster.
