Summary:
Black and white photograph of a group portrait of male Kodak staff called the 'Foreman's Club'. The photograph was taken at Abbotsford circa 1947-1948, and was later published in the 'Nostalgia' section of the 'Australian Kodakery' magazine, July 1977 edition.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This photograph is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Description Of Content:
Group portrait of thirty four men positioned in four rows in a garden setting. In the front row is seated seven men on the ground. In the second row, nine men are seated. In the third row, nine men are standing and in the last row, another nine men are standing.

My father is in the front row his name is incorrect it is Ormond Goble not Orme Goble.
