The Limerick lace wedding veil was imported from Ireland for the wedding of Scottish migrant Janet Scrimgeour when she married Danish migrant Peter Franz Brackelmann in Bendigo in 1865. It remained in the family until it was donated to Museum Victoria. - Description:
