Summary:: Photograph of MF205 Tractor being loaded onto H.M.A.S. Melbourne on the 23rd November 1964. The Massey Ferguson Review Jan/Feb 1965 No. 76 records 'Two MF 205X Tractors have an important role aboard the Royal Australian Navy aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne. They test the efficient operation of aircraft arrestor wires on the flight deck before planes land...The MF Navy 'seahorses' have other duties. They tow aircraft above and below the flight deck and , with MF512 Transporters handle movement of stores below decks.'
