These outboard motors were manufactured by my father and business partner along with some agricultural farming equipment like post hole diggers and slashers many are still in use today. Please feel free to contact me if you require further information

Thanks for the comment Stuart. MV has a leaflet for a Cromac post hole digger but little else. Would like to hear about the history of the business or obtain other examples of Cromac trade literature for the collection.

Hi David I have another Brochure which covers the Rotary Slashers and Post Hole Diggers manufactured for the Agricultural Industry from 1954 to 1963. You are most welcome to digital images of it.

That would be great if you are able to send me a digital image at dcrotty@museum.vic.gov.au Any other information you may have about the history of Cromac would be much appreciated as well.

Hi Mark, hopefully Stuart is able to assist as I checked with the Curators if we have any further info and it seems we don’t. It has been suggested to try one of the many boating forums online as a possible source for info.
