I drew the letters CFA and a picture of a/helicopter in the top corner, releasing/water onto a fire. My Dad works for the/CFA so thats why I chose to draw/the CFA symbol in the middle and I drew/the helicopter because there were lots of/helicopters in the air that day.

We saw smoke form the Coldstream fire/out the back. We saw the Yarra Glenn /Chum fire come up to the top of a mountain/and then the wind change blew it/ across the top of the other mountains./We were all wearing overalls and long/sleave shirts and we had water buckets/all around the house. It was very hot/ wearing them but they were to protect us/from the fires.

I remember missing school and they were/the only good times during the fires.
