- Allyson was a Grade 6 student from Healesville Primary School during the Black Saturday bushfires in February, 2009. Her artwork 'Animal Rescue' was produced during that time. A year later, Allyson reflected on her experience on Black Saturday.

The Black Saturday Bush Fires was a/very scary and frightning time for me./The fire was basically knocking on our/front door ... but we fought it away!/And I really hope nothing like it ever/comes back!
