This is one of a series of photographic material in print, negative and/or digital formats covering CSIRAC machine and the people associated with it. The series was acquired from the University of Melbourne in 2003.
Description Of Content:
Roy Muncey from CSIRO Division of Building Research at console with right hand touching cathode ray tubes. 12 hole & 5 hole tape punch to his right. Tape winder to far left with 5 hole & 12 hole reader. Flexowriter to left of cabinets. Taken at night 17/6/1960.

The significance of this photograph is that it shows in some detail the five hole equipment. This equipment is not captured in any other images except briefly in the film 'The Computer CSIRAC'
