- This is one of a series of photographic material in print, negative and/or digital formats covering CSIRAC machine and the people associated with it. The series was acquired from the University of Melbourne in 2003.
- Description Of Content:
- Roy Muncey from CSIRO Division of Building Research at console with pencil in his hands, routine booklet and 5 hole paper tape in front of him. Switch panel to his left, cathode ray tubes with box of paper tape programs on top and teletype printer to his right. Flexowriter to left of cabinets. Taken at night 17/6/1960.
The significance of this photograph is that it shows in some detail the five hole equipment. This equipment is not captured in any other images except briefly in the film 'The Computer CSIRAC' - Acquisition Information:
