This is one of a series of photographic material in print, negative and/or digital formats covering CSIRAC machine and the people associated with it. The series was acquired from the University of Melbourne in 2003.
Description Of Content:
Roy Muncey from CSIRO Division of Building Research at Friden flexowriter with 5 hole tape being read on the left and a printout being generated on main part of flexowriter. Lighter print than Neg 13. Taken at night 17/6/1960.

The significance of this photograph is that it shows in some detail the five hole equipment. This equipment is not captured in any other images except briefly in the film 'The Computer CSIRAC'
