This photograph shows Christine Mierisch, renovating her house in 24 Westgarth Street Fitzroy, 1976. She is demolishing a wall with a crowbar. The wall to the kitchen is partially demolished, showing bricks and framework of the interior wall. Christine and her husband Robert Mierisch bought the house in 1975 and began renovating in 1976. The renovations continue to this day. - Acquisition Information:
