A 'candid street photograph' taken by a roving professional photographer in the street. Photographers would hand out a card, and customers would come in to look at proofs and choose an image to buy. The photograph shows the Dunlop family and Mavis Clencie (engaged to Len Dunlop) outside St Vincent's Hospital, Victoria Parade Melbourne.
