- A woman on a homemade swing, in a back garden, with a neighbouring house in the background.
Mavis Clencie on a swing in about 1932 in the Fraser family's back garden of 13 Culloden Street West Brunswick, which backed on to her family home across a lane. The family had boys, which was why they had a swing in the backyard. The photograph was taken at the time of Mavis and Len Dunlop's engagement. Mavis is wearing a light sweater, skirt and 'peep toe' shoes. - Acquisition Information:
