- View of the signal box and boom gates of a railway crossing, which are closed to allow a red suburban train through. The signal box is buff brown. Two cars are waiting to be let through the gates.
Railway crossing at New and Dendy Streets, Brighton, December 1964. Marlene Austin had come back for Christmas to visit her family. This was one of the last Christmases spent there for many years. The signal box has now been demolished. - Acquisition Information:
