Australia pole and flag bearers leaving the Melbourne Cricket Ground after the 1956 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, 22 November 1956. The photographer, Marlene Trenberth, was an official driver for the 1956 Olympic Games. She was admitted into several events for free, including the opening of the Games at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
