- Summary:
- Black and white photograph featuring two children, John and Helen Booth, in a wading pool at the front of their house, East Doncaster, February 1965. This house was designed through The Age newspaper's 'Small Homes Service' and built by a contract builder, starting in 1959. The children's father, Ron Booth, worked for a hardware company and so had access to cheap building materials.

- A boy and a girl in swimming costumes, playing with a wading pool in the front yard of their home. The boy is standing in the water, and the girl is standing on the grass. A kickboard is in the pool and bucket is on the edge of the pool.
