This photograph shows Chief Engineer Marty Hart and his daughter Sally Hart in the office of the tanker 'MV BP Achiever', in September 1990. Marty is in uniform. The 'MV BP Achiever' was a crude oil tanker, weighing approximately 130,000 tonnes. This photograph was probably taken near Spotswood, by the Mobil facility, Holden Dock. Working as a crew member on a commercial ship has meant long times apart for Marty, his wife Devon and their children. - Acquisition Information:
