Woman pushing baby in unusual wicker pram with only one handle, as she walks down footpath, with shops behind her. Woman is also carrying shopping in bag in her left hand.

This photograph shows Ruth Lancaster and her baby Gloria, walking outside the Post Office on Smith Street, Collingwood in the early 1930s. Ruth used to regularly go shopping in Smith Street, and is carrying a bag full of things she has bought. The photograph was probably taken by a street photographer.
