A view of a Trans-Australia Airlines (TAA) Douglas DC-3 on the tarmac of an airport, with a man in uniform walking towards a truck on the left hand side.

This photograph shows Essendon Airport, in January 1952. The photographer, David Meale, was sight-seeing as a fifteen year old. He was visiting from Cootamundra, a country town in New South Wales. David believes 'The plane was a TAA DC-3.'
