A baby in cloth covered basket, on rustic wooden garden seat.

This photograph shows Sandra Dennis as a baby, in a basket on a rustic, home made seat, in Smiths Gully, 1948. Charles Herbert Peake made this wooden bench seat from found wood at his property in Smiths Gully. The baby is lying in a washing basket and the crocheted shawl is draped over the basket to make it look like a bassinette.
