This photograph shows Vera Jones on Station Pier, 6 May 1954. She remembers this was 'very exciting!' Vera's friend Marina Fitch had just departed from Station Pier on the 'Orsova' to England. The SS 'Orsova' is in the background. The ship had come across from England and was now returning with passengers from Australia. - Acquisition Information:
