This photograph shows the photographer' oldest grandchild Dylan Mester, aged 4, at a supermarket in Carrum in the 1990s. The photographer William Bowers, used to visit Dylan and they would go for rides on the train and explore. In the 1990s William Bowers would walk through the City of Melbourne and the other suburbs to take candid photographs, 'moments of life in the city that took his fancy.' They were all taken between 1992-1997.
