- A girl playing by an abandoned car, by a partially demolished house and high-rise flats.
This photograph shows a girl playing by high-rise flats in Carlton, December 1968. Houses were being demolished in order to make way for more high rise flats. Their location was between Lygon and Rathdowne streets. The photographer Russell Beedles was driving past and saw the flats and stopped to take the photograph. - Acquisition Information:
