Description Of Content:
Two men in swimming costumes. One is in Speedos, hands on hips with a camera hanging on a long strap from his neck. The other is sitting down and wearing a hat and glasses.

This photograph shows John Brock and his father Vincent in the backyard of their family home, Caulfield, Melbourne, October 1968. The photographer Russell Beedles met John when they were teaching in Warrnambool, and he became friendly with their family. Vincent had a dark room in the back of the garage and showed Russell how to develop his own black and white film. Russell remembers it was 'A very hot day!'
